Hey! I'm John and I like to build things on the web. Check out my work...

Who Am I ?

Hi, I'm John! I've always been an avid technology user and geek and programming has always intrigued me. I always thought it was too hard and only for people who were good at math but that did not stop me from learning about it on my own. Once I started I was hooked. As a result I decided to change careers and joined The Iron Yard, recently completing the Front-End Web Development program. I am incredibly excited to work in this industry with so many intersting and friendly people. When not doing programming I enjoy working out, listening to music, watching football and hanging with my wife and new baby girl.

What I do

  1. HTML5
  2. CSS3
  3. Sass
  4. Javascript
  5. jQuery
  6. Angular
  7. Sketch
  8. Bootstrap
  9. Materialize
  10. Git & GitHub

For our final group project we worked with 3CDC to build an app for thier Fountain Square Blast event on New Year's Eve. The app features a landing page with info about the event that allows users to sign up with Twitter and Facebook. Once signed up users were able to vote on polls that appeared on the big screen on Fountain Sqaure as well as in the app. The voting results were updated in real time.
